Schleicher faces a felony charge of repeated sexual assault of the same child (at least three violations of first or second degree sexual assault).Colburn faces a felony charge of first degree sexual assault - sexual contact with a person under the age of 13.A criminal complaint filed in this case says Racine County Sheriff's officials spoke with the mother of a 13-year-old girl who had admitted to being at an underage drinking party where she engaged in sexual intercourse with 17-year-old Schleicher. The alleged party occurred last Friday, February 13th at Nicholas Colburn's home in the Village of Waterford.Sheriff's deputies spoke with the 13-year-old girl. She reported that Colburn made her and her friends drink a vodka-based drink in order to get into the party. The girl told officials she had sex with Schleicher, and her friend, who is 12 had sex with Colburn, according to the complaint.

The 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital for an examination. At the hospital, investigators spoke with the 13-year-old girl. She told them that she met Colburn on Facebook -- saying he sent her a message saying she was "cute" and that they should "hang out," according to the complaint. The complaint indicates Colburn and the 13-year-old girl had been communicating for approximately four months, and they had met a few times.Sheriff's officials say the girl told them on February 9th she got a message from Colburn inviting her and her friends to a party at his home on February 13th.The 13-year-old girl, the 12-year-old girl and a third girl, age 13 agreed to attend. The girl told officials that there were about seven other people at the party, but she says when she told them her age, a number of people became upset and left the party, according to the complaint. The complaint indicates Colburn provided two of the girls with a large martini glass filled with vodka mixed with something orange -- telling them they had to drink it without making a face in order to remain at the party. At this point, the only ones left at the party were the two 13-year-old girls and the 12-year-old girl -- and Schleicher, Colburn and a 21-year-old man known only as "Stone."The 13-year-old girl told investigators the group watched a horror movie, and that's when she and Schleicher had sex. At the same time, the girl told officials the 12-year-old girl was having sex with Colburn, according to the complaint. The 12-year-old girl also underwent an examination by a nurse.Colburn was interviewed on February 17th. Colburn admitted that three girls came to the party -- saying "Stone" had brought vodka, marijuana, Adderall, oxycodone, Xanax and Ambien. The complaint says Colburn told investigators he walked in on Schleicher and the 13-year-old girl having sex several times, and he admitted to having sex with the 12-year-old girl.Various items of evidentiary value were taken when a search warrant was executed on Colburn's home.Investigators spoke with Schleicher, who initially minimized his involvement, but eventually admitted to having sex with the 13-year-old girl, according to the complaint. Schleicher told officials he knew the girls were 12 and 13 years old.A family member of one of the boys involved says the charges are devastating for all involved."I'm at a loss for words on it. I just believe that this is every mother and father's nightmare. For the victims of all of the children and all of the parents I pray for all of them. Nobody wins on this. Everyone will lose on this, and there will always be hurt and sorrow," the family member said.Bond has been set at $75,000 for Schleicher and Colburn, teens with no prior record. They will be in court on February 25th for their preliminary hearings.

On the 6th of February 2014 a 14 year old tribal girl Sapna (Name Changed) left for school at 9:30am. The day that would have been a typical day for a child who goes to school to get an education turned out to be a horrific nightmare which went on for 3 days.

It has been reported that approximately 4% of pre-pubertal girls with a genital complaint will have a vaginal foreign body, and that a vaginal foreign body will be found to be the cause of the complaint in 18% of those with a vaginal discharge and up to 50% with vaginal bleeding.3 The majority of vaginal foreign bodies are found between the ages of three and nine, and the most common object identified is a wad of toilet paper, which is found in up to 80% of cases.4 The classic symptoms of vaginal foreign bodies are vaginal bleeding and a blood-stained vaginal discharge. The history is rarely helpful because the insertion is frequently not witnessed by an adult nor does the child usually disclose putting an object into the vagina. Foreign bodies have been reported to be inserted by children because the genital area may be pruritic, the children may be exploring their bodies, or it is a behavior related to sexual abuse.5

Sexually transmitted infections (STI) are a rare cause of vaginal discharge in pre-pubertal girls. Estimates are that 5% of at risk children will be infected with an STI. In sexual abuse cases, Neissesia gonorrhoeae has been estimated to be found in 3.3%, Chlamydia trachomatis in 3.1%, Trichomonas vaginalis in 5.9% and Treponema pallidum in 0.3%.6 In cases presenting as suspected sexual abuse, it is common practice to obtain studies to evaluate a vaginal discharge for an STI; however, there are no current recommendations to obtain cultures of the vaginal discharge associated with vaginal foreign bodies.1

Vaginal discharge is also a common finding in patients with a vaginal foreign body occurring in more than 18% of patients.7 However, vaginal discharge as a general complaint is a common gynecologic problem in pre-pubertal girls, accounting for more than 70% of all gynecologic concerns in young girls.4 Because pre-pubertal girls are not naturally exposed to STI, pediatricians and EPs often do not consider them as a possible cause for a vaginal discharge.

Children rarely recount how the foreign body was inserted, who inserted it, or what motivated the insertion.11 Reports have previously stated that the majority of these objects are inserted by the child during natural exploration of the body or during masturbatory play.7,12,13 Normal masturbation, however, is believed to involve clitoral and labial manipulation, not penetration of the vagina by objects.14 In addition, the pre-pubertal hymen is very sensitive to touch, and inserting an object past the hymen is likely to cause pain and discomfort. It is also known that children who have been exposed to sexual abuse will exhibit a greater number of sexualized behaviors, including inserting objects into the vagina or anus.2,10 Therefore, the presence of any vaginal foreign body in a pre-pubertal girl should elicit concern for sexual abuse. 2ff7e9595c
