Ben 10 Alien Force The Rise Of Hex Game: Comparing It to Other Ben 10 Games and Spin-offs

Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is a side-scrolling 2D-platformer, where the player controls Ben Tennyson and several of his alien-forms in an attempt to stop Hex from taking over the world. Throughout the game, players are able to transform into ten aliens, including: Lodestar, Humungousaur, Jetray, Spidermonkey, Big Chill, Swampfire, Goop, Brainstorm, Echo Echo, and Chromastone.

In case you're unfamiliar with the titular hero, Ben Tennyson possesses a magical device known as the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into different aliens, a power he uses to defeat his sworn enemy Hex. Predictably you don't need to follow the series to keep up with the game's storyline or characters, as everything is explained pretty clearly in still image cutscenes.

Ben 10 Alien Force The Rise Of Hex Game

At first Ben can only access two of his aliens, with each subsequent level introducing another available transformation and its abilities. It eases you into the game nicely, with body-swapping done via a simple radial menu and three buttons used for various powers, and clear design means you're rarely at a loss for which form to use in which situation. With powers ranging from flight to climbing and brute strength to growing vines, there's ample opportunity for varied gameplay, which is why it disappoints when that promise isn't fulfilled.

This is a very simple, reasonably quick completion. This game requires 2 playthroughs, one in Normal mode and one in Time Attack Mode. You can also replay levels for achievements that you may have missed during your playthrough.First Playthrough:For your first playthrough, you will want to complete the game and collect the extenders for "All Powered Up". A guide for finding the extenders can be found here. You will also want to quickly complete the levels, especially those that don't have extenders. None of the levels are difficult to complete and can all be completed in under 12 minutes and most under 8 minutes each.Time Attack Mode:After you complete the game once, you can start Time Attack Mode. The levels in this mode are the same as in the Normal Mode. You do not need to complete the levels in a specific amount of time, but you do need to be connected to LIVE to post to the leaderboard for "No Time to Waste".Mop Up:Last for 5 minutes in Survival Mode to earn "True Hero". Survival mode is also an excellent place to earn the last kills need for "A Hero's Marathon"."Versatility", "Unscathed", and "Ala Carte" can be earned during your first playthrough, but it you miss them you can use the level select to replay the levels to earn these. The easiest level for "Unscathed" and "Ala Carte" is the first level. For "Versatility" either use a clockwise or counterclockwise order for the aliens so that you make sure not to miss one.You should naturally get "The Fast Lane" during your first playthrough. If you don't get it, replay levels and get better times until the achievement unlocks. The levels with extenders are the ones that you will likely be able to gain the most time from. Conclusion:This is a nice and easy game to complete that should offer no problems getting all the achievements. Hopefully you had fun playing this game.

This is an action-platformer game, based on the TV show Ben 10, in which players assume the role of a boy who can transform into 10 different aliens on his way to protecting planet Earth. Players solve puzzles, traverse platforms, and engage in frequent hand-to-hand combat with enemy robots. Fire attacks, laser beams, and electrical charges can be used against enemies that react to damage by disappearing in an explosion of sparks and smoke. Boss battles depict more protracted one-one-one fighting with the cartoonlike enemies. 2ff7e9595c
